School closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation have led to gaps in schooling, which in turn resulted in the need for learning recovery across the world. In order to address this need of the hour, Karnataka State has decided to look at the academic year 2022–23 as the "Kalika Chetarike Year", which would focus more on the learning recovery for all schoolchildren rather than the completion of the current grade level syllabus.
As the Kalika Chetarike learning programme will be running throughout the entire academic year 2022-23, the teachers have to prepare the lesson plans according to the learning outcomes prescribed in the Teacher's Handbooks and the Student's Workbooks.
Thus, here are the model lesson plans for 7th class Science and Mathematics (the same format can be applied to all the subjects) for the teachers to prepare their own lesson plans as per Kalika Chetarike's Learning Outcomes.
